How it all began…
I was not always a yogi
I did not come from an athletic background and I was so uncomfortable in any group fitness setting, just the thought of participating intimidated and terrified me.
Desperately insecure in my own skin, I shied away from movement
For years, I struggled with off and on bouts of depression, insecure in my own skin, disconnected from myself, others and life in general.
Then, yoga found me
My first was class 90 minutes and heated and was torture! I thought I’d never go back. Nearly two decades later, yoga has held, supported and nurtured me through countless life experiences and left me feeling active, healthy and strong. The exact opposite of how I had once felt.
